About Coach

I grew up playing soccer year-round. I played from age 3 through age 21 and still occasionally play in Rec Leagues. I also pole vaulted in high school, I absolutely loved doing this and wish I would’ve given it more time & attention! I have ran multiple 5Ks with my husband and look forward to more in the future!

Turning Point

Starting around the age of 16-17, I had a very skewed body image and that is when my disordered eating patterns and negative body image started. As I got farther into my late teens, I developed a full-blown eating disorder that carried through to my mid 20s. I had body dysmorphia unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I was horrified of the number on the scale getting any higher and that is all I focused on. I was in the service industry as a bartender full-time, Working ridiculous hours and living a very unhealthy lifestyle in addition to having an eating disorder. I decided enough was enough and it was time to focus on a career change. I knew I wanted to look & feel my best and I wanted to have a career where I could help others do the same.

Motivation & Passion

I do what I do for a living so that I can help individuals that are struggling. So that I can teach them that there is so much more than that number on the scale. I love teaching individuals how they can live a happy, healthy, and balanced life. That they can still enjoy all of the things they love and achieve their goals. That the all or nothing mentality will get you nowhere and balance is key. I strive to help individuals have the best quality of life they can!
